About me
My name is Sally and I have been a tattoo artist since 2020. I have three beautiful boys, all teenagers. Being their mum is an absolute honour.
I love connecting with old and new clients. Most of my client base consists of wonderful people that come in on a regular basis for catch ups. Anyone new is welcomed with the same warmth.
I am a relaxing person who is laid back and friendly. I like to concentrate while I work so don't mind me if I slip into my own world, but I do love a good natter before we start.
I am a good option for first timers or those who have been in the chair before, and can adapt depending on your experience.
I get on with young and old alike. I am interested in your ideas, and your story. I don't try to be a rockstar artist, this journey is about you and your self expression.
I am a creative wonderer who loves being outside, solitude, creativity. I love fitness and you will often see me out running, walking, hiking. I have a gym in my back garden which is like church to me. I am doing a degree in Sports, Fitness and coaching.
Experience
With no formal qualifications available in the tattoo industry, experience is measured in time served. I am in year 6.
I have however worked with skin since 2012, and studied it in formal NVQ qualifications up to level 3.
This is something that most tattooists do not do (because they usually don't want to be beauticians!)
But it means I am (painfully) familiar with the structure of the skin, skin conditions and contra-indications, the aging process, differences between the different ethnicities and the healing process.
It also means I am incredibly experienced in working in the personal services sector and have a nice and respectful bedside manner.
I have recently qualified in nipple areola paramedical tattooing which means I can help to restore nipples following various types of surgery. I currently offer this service for free if you have had cancer and would love to chat with you about it.
